The AR-108 handi-sized scanner is ideal for the radio amateur/air/marine enthusiast. It covers the airband as well as the VHF band. Small enough to be kept out the way in your shirt pocket. It is surprisingly sensitive even on the supplied SMA antenna. There are 99 memories for the airband and another 99 memories for VHF. It is fitted with a 3.5mm audio socket for private listening with any of the standard mono earpieces. There is a squelch and volume control as well as a number of other buttons for light, scan, function, frequency up, frequency down, keylock etc. Once the controls of the receiver have been learned it is amazing how quickly one can move around the requencies. Supplied with SMA antenna, belt clip, strap and instruction manual.
