This is a completely self-contained electronic keyer, ideal for all modern transceivers. Choose the mode that suits you - automatic, semi-automatic or iambic. Speed is fully adjustable from 8 to 50WPM and there is a built-in sidetone and volume control plus speaker. To ensure smooth operation there are dot and dash memories. Use either 9V internal battery (not supplied) or external 12V DC.
The MFJ-422DX compact electronic keyer is similar to the MFJ-422D except you have to fit your own paddle.The MFJ-422DX installs over the MFJ-564 or Bencher paddle. It provides speeds from 2 to 65 wpm, has an internal speaker and has controls for weight and side-tone volume. Normal paddle semi and fully auto are available as well as iambic mode.
Microprocessor-controlled Contest Voice Keyer sends your callsign, does contest exchanges or any other messages in your own natural voice. Records and plays up to five pre-recorded messages up to 75 seconds in total. Uses the latest EEPROM technology which stores the message up to 100 years, and does not require back up batteries. Connected to virtually any make of rig, the 8-pin mic socket can be customised using internal jumpers. All lines are RF filtered to eliminate RFI, feedback and distortion. An isolation transformer totally iliminates hum and distortion casued by ground loops.
The MFJ-442X Slimline electronic keyer is similar to the MFJ-42 except you have to fit your own paddle.
This new slimline keyer from MFJ is capable of fulfiling all the requirements of the average operator. It can be used for conventional or iambic keying and only needs the addition of a suitable paddle. It matches all modern transceivers and the output is simply plugged into the key socket of the transceiver. Features include variable speed, variable tone, variable weighting, 500 character memory with instant recall, looping, auto serial number embedment and non volatile memory.
The MFJ-464 Morse Keyer/Reader combines the latest microprocessor technology with non volatile EEPROM memeory. The combination of Morse reader and keyer makes for great operating. High speed working is a doddle even if you are a bit rusty. It has a two line LCD for your send/receive messages. Input is by either a paddle key or keyboard (not included). Virtually any AT keyboard can be plugged in. The MFJ-464 supports direct keying output, has PTT output, built-in speaker, sinewave sidetone, iambic keyer with dot and dash memories, automatic or hand mode. Input queue lets you store multiple messages. There is also auto-incrementing contest serial numbering.
The MFJ-490 is a memory keyer and Bencher paddle complete on one base. Features adjustable speed and volume. Also offers adjustable weight and sidetone. Can be used as hand key, semi-auto, reverse paddle, Iambic left or right.
This has the same basic specification as the MFJ-490 but without the paddle. Owners of the MFJ Bencher paddles can simply fit this over their keyer and enjoy the full benefits of the MFJ-490 combo.
With the MFJ-492 Memory Keyer you get tutor mode, contest serial numbers, message storage, sidetone, auto, semi-auto, iambic keying and weight control. It operates with all rigs; valve, solid state, or grid block keying.

The MP-817 was specifically designed with the FT817 transceiver in mind, but it has a much wider use than that and indeed would be ideal for normal base station use. It is a marvel of German engineering and craftsmanship. The paddle can be recessed in its metal case for travel, slid into the operating position (as above), or removed to make adjustments to tension and paddle travel. The non-slip feet really grip and stop wandering. The 3.5mm stereo plug lead can be unplugged from the rear of the keyer.

VEC-202 has volatile 37 character MessageMemory. You can embed Message Loop and Extra Word Space commands and a serial number for contesting that increments after sending. An LED blinks during programming and blinks faster for low memory.

SmartDotDash feature mentioned above also applies to the MINI Electronic Keyer. Weight and tone controls are adjusted internally.

Two independent outputs. Metal parts are gold plated and in keeping with the other keys in the range is contained on a wooden base. Operates on 9V PP3 battery (not supplied).
