The CD-100 Counter / Decoder "the only one of its kind in the World" is a combination of frequency counter and tone decoder in one handheld package. It is easy to operate for quick and accuarate measurements. The Multicounter will also Reaction Tune compatible radios
The CUB Mini Counter incorporating both digital filter and auto capture is ideal for radio amateurs and service engineers for off-air frequency checking. Supplied with Ni-Cads, AC Charger and aerial. To operate simply hold the counter in the vicinity of a local transmitter or handheld.
The Digital Scout is the latest nearfield instrument from Optoelectronics with the ability to detect digital RF signals.
The Watson FC-130 Frequency Counter covers a respectable 1MHz to 3GHz. It has a clear 10-digit LCD readout, a 16-segment bargraph signal meter and low battery indicator. Built-in Ni-Cads operate up to 6 hours and are rechargeable through the external charger.
At last, a frequency counter that can handle digital and analogue signal. Until now there has not been a generally available digital frequency counter. A normal frequency counter cannot handle digital signals and results in no display. But the DIGI HUNTER has changed all that.
This very small hand-held unit will allow you to check almost any digital device up to 2.8GHz. It is great for key rings, remote devices, portable telephones and digital transmission equipment.
The DIGI COUNTER is supplied with telescopic antenna, AC charger and internal rechargeable battery,
A squelch controls allows adjustment of effective sensitivity and a hold button allows you to freeze the display after it has locked onto a signal.
* Internal Ni-Cads * AC charger * 9V DC 300mA * 68 x 80 x 31mm * 210g
The Hunter Frequency Counter covers 10MHz to 3GHz. Although an entry level model, it offers excellent value for the budget minded. It has a clear 8-digit LCD readout, black anodised metal case and hold button for freezing the readout. It is small enough to slip into the pocket or tool case. Good sensitivity means that off-air signals can be read up to around 200ft. For your convenience it is supplied with built-in Ni-Cads rechargeable through the external charger. Supplied complete with Ni-Cads, charger and telescopic whip.
The M1 Frequency Counter is ideal for off-air checking especially at the maximum possible distances. For in-circuit measurement of frequencies from oscillators or test points, there are two inputs, 50 Ohm and 1M Ohm. The M1 is also equipped with a CI-V interface. The optional OPTOLYNX is required for use with a PC.
The M1-TCXO fitted with a temperature controlled crystal oscillator makes it extremely stable. Especially useful in labs and workshops where it is important to know that the test gear is stable for accurate readings. There are two inputs, 50 Ohm and 1M Ohm. The M1 is also equipped with a CI-V interface. The optional OPTOLYNX is required for use with a PC.
The MFJ-888 covers 10Hz to 3GHz with a 10-digit LCD and ultra-sensitive synchronous detector with 16-section bargraph to show signal strength. It features a Hi-Z low range, auto-hold, measures frequency and period, has LED backlight, beeper, low power consumption, hold switch to lock display, low battery indicator and more. A high speed 300MHz direct counter with 0.1Hz resolution has four selectable gate speeds. Built-in Ni-Cd battery pack will operate up to 6 hours and recharges with the external charger.
Comes complete with Ni-Cd battery pack, charger and seven segment telescopic whip.
The Scout automatically stores frequencies as it locks onto them, and logs the number of hits for any one channel. It incorporates both digital filter and auto capture. The Scout can also Reaction Tune various receivers with a suitable optional cable. RT-8200 for AR8200 and SAC-8000 for AR8000
The Spectrum Scout is a frequency counter that is capable of capturing the frequeny of a nearby transmitter and displaying the FCC bandplan data for that frequency. It can store up to 1000 captured frequencies with 65,000 hits per frequency and also displays the signal strength of a transmitter.
The Spectrum Scout allows you to program your own portable frequency reference from simple text files. Also frequency spectrum data can be downloaded off the internet relevant to the country concerned rather than using the FCC data. It uses 11 different step sizes for scrolling through the data.
The Watson Super Hunter covers a superwide 10Hz to 3GHz. It has a clear 10-digit LCD readout, a 16-segment bargraph signal meter and low battery indicator. Built-in internal Ni-Cads operate up to 6 hours and are rechargeable through the external charger. Extra facilities include H-Z low range, beeper, filter preventing display of random noise and a light switch.
Supplied complete with Ni-Cads, charger and seven segment telescopic whip.
One of the most advanced frequency counters for its price that we have ever seen. For this is not just an ordinary counter, it will actually tune a receiver to the frequency it is locked onto. And all this happens in a fraction of a second.
To achieve this you will need the appropriate Icom or AOR receiver plus a short lead to connect the two together. There are many uses for this, not the least of which is in a service department for a quick check on transceiver operation and audio quality. Listeners will find the fast reaction time a boon when trying to monitor local transmissions where the frequency is unknown.
