It has 1,000 memories which can be used to store favourite frequencies or the more important frequencies in each band. The channel spacing and mode are automatically selected depending on which frequency range is in use. Power is from 4 x AA cells (not included) but it is suppled with a separate battery holder for rechargable batteries. These batteries can be charged in situ. using a suitable external 12V supply.
