Operate on 80 and 40m using the famous Butternut HF-2V vertical antenna. All 9.85m (32ft) of the HF-2V are active on both bands, maximising efficiency. Rated at the legal power on both bands. The feed point impedance is a nominal 50 Ohms. There is a handy pig-tail connection at the base of the antenna. The antenna can be mounted unguyed and comes complete with a 61cm mounting tube, 32mm (1-¼in) for direct mounting into the ground. It can be mounted using a standard TV antenna mast. The resonator coils are easily adjustable for minimum SWR. Radials not provided. This antenna is great for LF DX work. The low angle radiation will give impressive performance on DX paths. But do make sure you provide a decent earth.
