This antenna covers all bands (including WARC bands) from 80-6m, 5W guaranteed, 25W max. When fully telescoped it is 1.65m long approx. and is fitted with a right angled PL-259 connector. This makes it ideal for the new FT-817ND or any other portable HF radio. Band changing is achieved by plugging in the "wander lead" into the appropriate socket on the base coil, and fine tuning adjustments are made using the 10 section telescopic whip. The whip unscrews from the base matching coil so that packed down, the antenna only measures 32cm.
