ATX-W38 Walkabout Portable 80-6m HF Antenna 3/8 thread
This antenna covers all bands (including WARC bands) from 80-6m, 5W guaranteed, 25W max. When fully telescoped it is 1.65m long approx. and is fitted with a 3/8 thread connector. This makes it ideal for fixing it to a standard 3/8th mount (fixed or magnetic) for mobile use. This antenna can be used with the new FT817 or any other portable HF radio. Band changing is achieved by plugging in the "wander lead" into the appropriate socket on the base coil, and fine tuning adjustments are made using the 10 section telescopic whip. The whip unscrews from the base matching coil so that packed down, the antenna only measures 32cm.
