This is an easy and fast way to install an antenna that has a standard 3/8-24 thread. For example, it can be used with the High Sierra Sidekick, stick type antenna, Hustler and many others.
The Hitchin' Post comes complete with a 3/8-24 threaded post and nut. On the bottom there is a standard coax connector (SO-239). There is also a stainless steel screw for the important ground (earthing) connection. That screw is designed to mate with our HS-GS ground strap. Three feet of HS-GS ground strap is included.
The Hitchin' Post can be installed under the trailer ball. There is a large, 7/8 inch hole. The Hitchin' Post can also be installed using a large bolt and nut.
