The Vectronics Shortwave Radio Converter kit enables you to convert any AM or AM/FM radio to receive SW broadcasts. Choose any two 1MHz bands between 3 and 22MHz and select them by pushing a button. Includes the popular 13, 16, 19, 25, 31, 41, 49 and 60m international SW broadcast bands. An On/Off bypass switch restores normal AM radio operation.
Optional matching VEC-101KC metal case includes knobs, hardware and rubber feet.

Build your own 2m FM receiver with the Vectronics 2m Receiver kit. Once built some test equipment or a 2m scanner receiver will have to be used to align the IF. The kit is complete with case, knob set, whip antenna and speaker. Exceptions: external supply or 9V PP3 battery. Standard SO-239 type antenna socket is provided for use with an external 2m antenna with PL-259 plug and 50 Ohm coax.

The Vectronics Ni-Cad/Ni-MH Rapid Battery Charger and Battery Conditioner kit has been specially designed for Ni-Cads and Ni-MH batteries. It will look after the charge and disharge of Ni-Cads preventing overcharging, this will prolong battery life.

The Vectronics Super CW Filter kit gives you an incredibly narrow 80Hz bandwidth and extremely steep skirt without ringing effect. Lets you pull CW signals out of interference on any band. Interference is down at least 60dB one octave from centre frequency for 80Hz bandwidth.Simply plug it into your receiver or transceiver phone jack. An optional VEC-820KC metal case includes hardware, connectors and rubber feet.

The Vectronics Deluxe Super CW Filter kit gives an extremely narrow 80Hz bandwidth without ringing and a built-in 1W audio amplifier. Eight pole active IC filtering uses cascaded low-Q stages for super steep CW skirts. Three selectable bandwidths 80, 110 & 180Hz, centre frequency 750Hz. Also features an automatic noise limiter which reduces static crashes and other impulse noises. Optional matching VEC-821KC metal case includes knob, hardware, connectors and rubber feet.

With these kits you can leave them on the local calling channel and free up you main FM receiver or scanner for other frequencies or bands.

Build the Vectronics 2m FM transmitter kit and get a 5W crystal controlled transmitter. Based on the Motorola NBFM IC and PA transistor. It has both reactance and direct FM modulation, virtually any 600 ohm microphone can be used, or direct connection to a Packet TNC or modem. Running just 1W these single band 20m, 30m, 40m, 80m QRP CW transmitters offer VXO tuning for best stability. There is a front panel switch for selecting one of two crystals which can be VXOd over a small frequency range. There is also a built-in T/R (transmit/receive) switch which lets you interface a receiver or one of the matching receiver kits for a complete CW station.
