The use of this balun allows you to employ ladder line as the main feed and so take advantage of the very low loss that results. The ladder line is attached to the two large insulators on the balun unit and the output fed via 50 Ohm coax cable to the transceiver. The great advantage of this method of feeding is the extremely low losses that result, even with long lengths of balance line.
The MFJ-913 4:1 current balun is ideal for folded dipoles, delta loops or other medium impedance balance antennas where ATUs are not required.
The MFJ-915 Line Isolator has been designed to be placed in line with 50 Ohm coaxial cable to reduce or eliminate stray RF. This stray RF can be a major problem with some multi-band dipole type antennas, and can cause burns and other problems with electronic equipment while reducing antenna radiation.
The MFJ-919 4:1 current balun rated at 1500W is ideal for folded dipoles, delta loops or other medium impedance balance antennas where ATUs are not required.
NOTE: You will need basic hand tools plus a soldering iron to complete the assembly.
This antenna is a full quarter-wave long on 20-10m, and minimizes the coil necessary for 60, 40, and 30m.

(6) Six MFJ-605-4001 Special Silver Plater Tap Clips for Coil
(1) One MFJ-610-2005 Chassis Mount SO-239 Connector

The MFJ-1924 Programmable Screwdriver Antenna Controller allows you to preprogram up to 10 tuning positions for your Screwdriver Antenna. A 4-digit super bright LED turns counter gives you precise antenna position. Manual Up/Down buttons lets you manually move the antenna to any desired position. Uses MFJ’s exclusive AutoParkTM feature which automatically bottoms your antenna for parking in your garage and resets and calibrates your counter each time to eliminate errors. MFJ’s exclusive Dead-OnStopTM feature automatically reverses the motor briefly to avoid overshoot. And to protect the motor from burn-out it is fitted with StallProtectorTM which automatically detects a motor stall and completely shuts off power to the motor.
