The MFJ-347 is a novel bracket that permits two mobile HF whips to be mounted and fed as a dipole (MFJ version of DAK-AD). The bracket will, only accommodate a mast of 30mm (1.25in) diameter so we recommend you get a short length of steel or other stub section material to bolt to the top of the mast.

The MFJ-1922 Digital Screwdriver Antenna Controller is designed to give Up/Down control and digital counter to count turns inside the screwdriver antenna. It features a four digit readout which is calibrated to cover the whole antenna tuning range this assists in quickly tuning the antenna. However, the antenna must have a position sensor installed in it. The MFJ-1922 is easily connected using the colour coded wires, Red and Black for power (12V), green and yellow for motor control, brown and white for the sensor. Some screwdriver antennas operate on 3-4V DC, a dropping resistor is required to bring the voltage down. It is important to read the specifications for your particular Screwdriver antenna before fitting.

The MFJ-1924 Programmable Screwdriver Antenna Controller allows you to preprogram up to 10 tuning positions for your Screwdriver Antenna. A 4-digit super bright LED turns counter gives you precise antenna position. Manual Up/Down buttons lets you manually move the antenna to any desired position. Uses MFJ’s exclusive AutoParkTM feature which automatically bottoms your antenna for parking in your garage and resets and calibrates your counter each time to eliminate errors. MFJ’s exclusive Dead-OnStopTM feature automatically reverses the motor briefly to avoid overshoot. And to protect the motor from burn-out it is fitted with StallProtectorTM which automatically detects a motor stall and completely shuts off power to the motor.

The Yaesu ATAS mobile HF antenna is normally only for use with Yaesu mobile/portable transceivers. With the MFJ-1925 it is possible to use the ATAS-120 with non Yaesu mobile HF transceivers. This version is for use with any mobile HF transceiver. However, it does exclude the IC-706 as there is another version specifically for that model.
The MFJ-1925 is easily connected, all it requires is a 12V DC source, and two 50 Ohm patch leads. One from the rig to the MFJ-1925 and one from the ATAS antenna. It is extremely important that the right connections are made as the voltage intended for the ATAS antenna could damage the rig.
The functionality as opposed to an all Yaesu system which is automatic is not quite the same as the ATAS is manually tuned by pressing the UP/DOWN button. This raises or lowers the ATAS mechanism, the button is relased when low SWR is reached.

The Yaesu ATAS mobile HF antenna is normally only for use with Yaesu mobile/portable transceivers. With the MFJ-1925I2 it is possible to use the ATAS-120 with an Icom IC-706 HF transceiver. This version is only for use with the IC-706 transceiver as the power is obtained specifically via a moulded 4-pin plug which is connected to the IC-706. Additionally all that is required are two 50 Ohm patch leads. One from the rig to the MFJ-1925I2 and one from the ATAS antenna. It is extremely important that the right patch lead connections are made as the voltage intended for the ATAS antenna could damage the rig.
