The ATAS-25 utilises a manual tuning system which resonates the radiating element for lowest SWR without the need for expensive mono-band resonating whip assemblies. It allows dual frequency operation on HF or 50MHz and either 2m or 70cm (duplexer not supplied). A very handy feature is that the ATAS-25 is designed to mount directly onto a standard camera tripod mount (not supplied) and makes up a portable antenna system ideal for tempory field operation but not recommended for long-term outdoor installation.
The ATAS-120 mobile antenna system is designed for use with Yaesu transceivers equipped with the ATAS system ( Active Tuning Antenna Systsem). These Yaesu transceivers are the new FT-897, FT-847 and the FT-100/D. The ATAS-120 utilises a motorised tuning system which resonates the radiating element for the lowest SWR using control voltages sent to ther ATAS-120 via the coaxial cable connected to your rig. The ATAS-120 is designed to mount directly onto a standard SO-239 mobile antenna mount (not supplied). Magnetic mounts are not generally suitable for this antenna. For operation on 144 and 430MHz bands a diplexer for the FT-897 and the FT-100/D or triplexer for the FT-847 maybe addionally purchased. The optional ATBK-100 VHF/UHF antenna base kit is also available.

The Yaesu DMU-2000 is an extremely useful option for the FT-2000 series of transceivers.
Please note that this device requires a computer monitor with VGA plug and computer keyboard (not supplied).
The FC-30 External Automatic ATU is specifically for the FT897 and covers HF/ 6m. The matching impedance range is from 16.5 Ohms to 150 Ohms (up to 3:1 SWR). Long wire antennas may not be matched unless they fall within this range. Connection to the FT-897/857 is very simple with the supplied control cable and the 50 Ohm patch lead with PL-259 plugs. The external HF/50MHz antenna is connected to the ANT connection on the FC-30 and the 2m/70cm directly to the FT-987 or FT-857.
For more demanding applications, the FC-800 is a weather resistant automatic antenna matching unit that can be installed outdoors at the antenna feedpoint, or at the antenna whip for mobile operation.
The FC-800 provides all-band transmitting capability with an end-fed wire or long whip antenna. The tuner makes use of the control circuitry built into the FT840, which allows the operator to control and monitor automatic operation of the FC-800 mounted near the antenna feed point.
It uses specially selected thermally stable components and is housed in a waterproof casing to reliably withstand severe climatic conditions. The FC-800 matches a wide varity of antenna to within a 1.5:1 SWR on any amateur band frequency in typically less than 30 seconds. Transmitter power required for matching can be as little as 10W, and matching settings are automatically stored in memory for instant recall when the same frequency range is reselected later.

The FP-30U is an internal AC power supply specifically for the FT897. It provides 13.8V DC at up to 22A . It does however needs to be fitted into the FT897 but simple instructions are provided. The FP-30U comes supplied with AC power cable, spare 6.3A fuse, spare M3x6B screws and an instruction sheet.
