The PR 35 has been designed for commercial broadcast, recording and live sound reinforcement applications which require a smooth flat response over a wide frequency range. The PR 35 was designed around the acclaimed PR 30 element and incorporates a sorbothane shock mount to give the best possible results.
This is probably the best handheld microphone for vocals. It beats the more expensive competitors, hands down. It has extremely low handling noise and superb rear rejection for live use. We have used it for instrumental use as well and it offers just that little bit more of frequency range than its little brother, the PR-22. If you want studio sound live, and are fed up with following the sheep who buy into Shure, then you will be amazed at the sparkling quality of this microphone. Nothing else touches it.
