The RIGblaster Plug & Play connects the rig to computer by USB. The installation is easy with only one plug to the radio and USB and sound to the computer. It has a built-in USB to serial converter which provides T/R switching, CW keying and CAT/CI-V rig control. The RB/PP is compatible with Yaesu rigs using 5-pin mini DIN and does not require an adaptor. With other rigs such as in the Icom/Kenwood range an adaptor is required.
The RIGblaster Plug & Play is compatible on over 25 modes of operation and is able to be used with most sound card programs. As with all West Mountain RIGblaster products the Plug & Play has fully isolated audio and keying connections. It runs from power obtain through the USB port and has a built in TTL level CAT or CI-V rig control interface, depending on version required (Yaesu, Icom or Kenwood). Comes with USB cable, computer audio, and a plug & play CD ROM. Note that a Data Adapter is required for Icom and Kenwood rigs.
