Telecom high power amplifiers are designed and built in Europe. They represent a new standard in design concept and an easy way to explore the VHF - UHF spectrum using high power. Each amplifier is a dedicated single band device (aprt from the dual band 6m - 4m model). The compact size of 42 x 27 x 10.5cm provides a desk top package that is completely self-contained. The AC power supply is built-in and the entire package is solid state.
These amplifiers are high gain devices and may be driven to the full 500W output (150W on 23cm) from just 4W input. Full overdrive protection is provided.
The front panel meter monitors power output and VSWR and LEDs warn against overdrive and over heating. Transmit / receiver requires a PTT input either direct or via a ground-on-transmit line from the transceiver.
Total gain is 23dB and the weight is just 7kg.
