The W2-EDGE is an 8-band graphic equaliser, plus noise gate specifically designed with radio communications in mind. The graphic equaliser covers 8-bands between 50Hz and 3200Hz - the typical range for SSB. This enables you to finely adjust the audio response to improve your mic and match your radio.
As this unit is designed to work with 8-pin mic units you can plug any Icom, Yaesu or Kenwood unit directly into it. You will require a patch lead to take the output from the unit to your radio. This comprises 8-pin connector for radio and 5-pin DIN back to the EQ unit. We can supply leads for Icom, Kenwood and Yaesu 8-pin radios.
