This is a large variable transmitting capacitor that is able to operate in equipment rated up to 3kW. It is ideal for use in either linear amplifiers or antenna tuners. The dimensions given include the chassis mounting bracket but not the shaft extension which is 8cm from the end plate and 6.5cm from the bracket projection.

These are high quality 7.5kV door knob capacitors designed for RF work. They are brand new items of current manufacture, made by High Energy in the USA. The MFJ-23 is a low loss butterfly loop tuning capacitor. The capacitance is variable from 18 - 136 pF.
This low loss butterfly loop tuning capacitor has a voltage rating of 4.2kV rms. Built-in insulator feet give 25.4mm clearance under the bottom of the capacitor allowing convenient mounting and high voltage insulation. Solder lugs are provided on the stators and rotor for easy wiring.
Longer than the MFJ-19, this butterfly capacitor measures 254mm in length, 76.2mm wide and 88.9mm tall. Included is a 63.5mm long 6.35mm diameter insulated nylon shaft so a knob can be easily added to aid in turning the capacitor rotor.
